I begin working at Nazareth as the Family Coordinator in March of 2018. I am part of the Children’s Ministry team and I help with developing programs, connecting with parents and providing a link between what children are learning at church and equipping parents and encouraging discussion at home.
The biggest influence in my life that has led me to this position is just being a mom and growing in my journey of motherhood as it relates to my identity in Christ. I’ve realized in the last year how much I need support, resources, community and guidance with this job called motherhood. Going through this has encouraged me to want to support other parents!
I am passionate about connecting with new moms and providing them with support, resources, and community in the church.
I love to run and participate in 1/2 marathons. I enjoy scrapbooking, organizing parties for my family and friends and participate in different women’s small groups.
One of my favorite verses is: “Therefore, I remind you to keep ablaze the gift of God that is in you through the laying on of my hands. For God has not given us a spirit of fearfulness, but one of power, love and sound judgment.” (2 Timothy 1:6-7)
