This week we are encouraging families to hop on RightNow Media and on the kids section of their website there are many Christmas videos and shows to watch. Feel free to try several out between now and all of break. I am going to recommend two different options. These again can be done at one time or over the course of the week.

  1. Clive and Ian’s 12 Big Questions of Christmas
~these are twelve different 1 minute clips that answer a question of Christmas
~examples are: Why is it called Christmas? Was Jesus really born on Dec 25th? Who is Emmanuel? What does Santa have to do with Jesus’ birth?
  2. 5 Minute Family Devotional – Big Questions about Christmas
~ these are videos 2-5 minute in length, they answer the questions, allow for some family discussion around a question they pose and then end in prayer.
~Examples: Why is Christmas so confusing? What year was Jesus born? Why do we celebrate on Dec 25? What is hanukkah?

Both these are great options and I am sure they have some other amazing options for you and your kids to check out. Remember RightNow Media is a resource Naz pays so that our families can have it for free. If you still have not signed up for RightNow Media, here is a link to do so CLICK HERE

We pray you all have a safe and Merry Christmas.

Wednesday Night Activities Fall 2020

WOW/JUMP56 are not meeting this fall due to space constraints and inability to safely social distance.

KidzRock is a highly engaging, age-appropriate, Bible-based, faith-building time for kids ages 3 (3-year-olds MUST TURN 3 BY September 15, 2020) to 6th grade from 10:00 to 10:40 a.m. on Sunday mornings (drop off starts at 9:50 a.m.).  During this time, kids and volunteers worship together and learn about an important Bible truth through storytelling, video, teaching and/or drama presentations. Following the teaching, kids break into small groups for kid-relevant relationship building, discussion and activities with their leaders.

The following Sundays KidzRock doesn’t meet: November 29th, December 27th, January 3rd, March 14th, March 21st, and April 4th.

The Nazareth Nursery is open during all  Sunday morning worship services and welcomes infants and toddlers up through the age of 3.

A room is provided for nursing mothers every Sunday morning. A closed-circuit television allows you to view the worship service. Please stop at the Information Desk on Sunday morning and ask for more information.

Checking In on Sunday Mornings

If you are a first time guest and would like your children to join us, please check in at the information desk near the Family Life Center through Door #6.  Our team will help you register your children and will guide you to their classrooms.

At Nazareth, we understand that faith takes root during the childhood years. That’s why we work hard to create “good soil” for the children in our church, giving them a Bible-based, fun and nurturing environment where they can learn about God and grow in their faith in Jesus.

At the beginning of each summer, NAZ offers a high-energy, fun-filled week of VBS.  Kids are encouraged to invite their friends and neighbors to experience a week of awesome activities and learning about Jesus.  All week long, kids and volunteers will worship together, watch Bible stories be performed, work on a service project, build cool crafts, and participate in great games.  You don’t want to miss it!
