Wednesday Night Activities Fall 2020

WOW/JUMP56 are not meeting this fall due to space constraints and inability to safely social distance.

POW – A Parent Small Group led by Meg Husted

Triggers “Exchanging Parents’ Angry Reactions for Gentle Biblical Responses”

6:00pm – 7:15pm, Wednesday Nights in Room 301

September 16-November 18

For 10 weeks, parents will examine common parenting issues that cause them to explode inappropriately at their children.  Moving beyond simple parenting tips on how to change your child’s behavior, authors Amber Lia and Wendy Speake offer Biblical insight and practical tools to equip and encourage parents on the journey away from anger-filled reactions toward gentle, Biblical responses.

There is programming for the kids whose parents attend POW led by Nolan and Kim and Nursery is available for the younger ones.

Contact meg.husted@naz.org to sign up.

KidzRock

KidzRock is a highly engaging, age-appropriate, Bible-based, faith-building time for kids ages 3 (3-year-olds MUST TURN 3 BY September 15, 2020) to 6th grade from 10:00 to 10:40 a.m. on Sunday mornings (drop off starts at 9:50 a.m.).  During this time, kids and volunteers worship together and learn about an important Bible truth through storytelling, video, teaching and/or drama presentations. Following the teaching, kids break into small groups for kid-relevant relationship building, discussion and activities with their leaders.

The following Sundays KidzRock doesn’t meet: November 29th, December 27th, January 3rd, March 14th, March 21st, and April 4th.

Nursery

The Nazareth Nursery is open during all  Sunday morning worship services and welcomes infants and toddlers up through the age of 3.

A room is provided for nursing mothers every Sunday morning. A closed-circuit television allows you to view the worship service. Please stop at the Information Desk on Sunday morning and ask for more information.

Checking In on Sunday Mornings

If you are a first time guest and would like your children to join us, please check in at the information desk near the Family Life Center through Door #6.  Our team will help you register your children and will guide you to their classrooms.

At Nazareth, we understand that faith takes root during the childhood years. That’s why we work hard to create “good soil” for the children in our church, giving them a Bible-based, fun and nurturing environment where they can learn about God and grow in their faith in Jesus.

At the beginning of each summer, NAZ offers a high-energy, fun-filled week of VBS.  Kids are encouraged to invite their friends and neighbors to experience a week of awesome activities and learning about Jesus.  All week long, kids and volunteers will worship together, watch Bible stories be performed, work on a service project, build cool crafts, and participate in great games.  You don’t want to miss it!
